South Korea completed a 2-1 comeback victory over Czechia and collected three points in their 2026 World Cup Group A opener at Estadio Guadalajara. South Korea fell behind early to a second-half header from captain Ladislav Krejci from a long throw after several misses from Heung-Min Son. They responded with a well deserved equaliser in the 67th minute from midfielder Hwang In-beom before adding an assist for substitute Oh Hyeon-gyu for the late winner.
